What a joy it has been to host our special friends from Poland, Ania and Piotr Wargan. Ania is the famous Ania that Ania's Dream was written for. Here we are in our conservatory with my legendary John Bailey twin necked guitar. Piotr has done so much to help raise my profile in Poland bless him.
Here is Steve Pilkington my biographer and I going through archive pics for my upcoming biography planned for a late autumn release but more of that later. Suffice to say that it is all slowly coming together really well.
This is my pal Steve Pilkington's new book on Sabbath, and I'm thrilled to have an inclusion in the book.

Guitar weekend
The weekend was held at Snowshill House a beautiful country home and was put together by Charles Dean a wonderful player and person.
I was the guest on the Saturday and had to play in front of 20 brilliant guitarists and duet with one of the number so no pressure then! Hilary and I had a wonderful time and were spoilt rotten.
Recent gigs
I have had some cracking gigs since last I wrote. April 20th at Mycenae House was lovely and a chance to show Hilary round the area where I lived as a teenager. The gig went well and our host Jim Kimberly of Jim and Isobel Kimberly fame looked after us superbly. Unfortunately Isobel was away looking after a poorly Mum and was sorely missed. Do check out this outstandingly brilliant duo if you can because they are really special believe me.
On the 26th Carrie Martin and I were at the Winters End Festival under the banner of The Classic Rock Society in Chepstow. What a lovely town Chepstow is. Again all went well and a lovely crowd. Special thanks to Steve and Jill Lamb for looking after us so well.
On the 29th I was privileged to perform at my annual Tracy Sollis's fundraiser at The Fleece in Bretforton. Well over a grand raised on the night and lovely to congratulate Sue Sollis personally on receiving her well-deserved BEM for her outstanding services to charity.
Guitars of note
This photograph was taken by the eminent guitar maker Adrian Lucas at a guitar weekend in the Cotswolds recently. It is of my new FYLDE GG signature guitar.
Look at the beautiful flame maple and diamond cut inlays on the fingerboard, I love it.
Danelectro: I have always loved the sound of these guitars with their very clever basic design and "lipstick" pickups. This is now my favourite electric guitar and has already made its debut at the Snowshill House weekend on The Dodo's Dream. A superb and affordable guitar.
