Postby GORDON » Tue Jul 31, 2012 11:14 am

Not something I would normally post but just wanted to share the good news that my daughter Sadie has come through a rather nasty jaw operation and is(in her words) groggy and swollen but OK. A few get well messages on this Forum would mean a lot to her.She a great girl and I'm very proud of her.......but I would be wouldn't I. :D

Get well soon Sadie!

That operation did sound painful..makes you feel sore just thinking about it.

The most important thing in life is good health.

Get well soon Sadie! Operations are always difficult to cope with but with it now over I’m sure you will improve quickly. Hopefully, with the love and support of your family and friends, you will be back to yourself in no time.
Love and good wishes
Bob and Jane xx

Hi Sadie!

It was very nice to meet you and your family a few years ago at Weymouth - very good meal at the Chinese on the pier (thanks Gordon & Hilary :D ) I seem to remember and we still have the toy dog from the amusement arcade - happy times :)

Best wishes for a speedy recovery,

Roger & Em x

Hello Sadie :D

Polish fans of your Dad would like to send best wishes for a rapid recovery!

A week ago we had a party and we put a certain vinyl record on the turntable, and guess what: several people jumped with excitement saying "I know this piece!!!". The piece was from Visionary, and the people were my best friends (like myself, they heard it first time in 1981). I was filled with joy and my friends wanted more!

Get well soon!
Piotr & Ania

Thank you SOOO much for all the lovely messages! I am healing well and beginning to feel normal again. I have learnt a few funny things over the past couple of weeks - my food processor is definately my best friend, Cadbury's chocolate trifles are pure heaven and yawning is the enemy! ;-)
Best wishes to you all and huge thanks again for such lovely messages - they really did cheer me up.
