Managed to catch this great guitarist at Birmingham Town Hall last week and would recommend to anyone who has the chance, go and see is show he's a fabulous player.

He even mentioned Gordon as one of his Guitar Gods, along with Albert Lee, Merle Travis and Chet Atkins

Hello Sir.

I heard from another source that Tommy gave me a name check at Birmingham.

This means SO much to me! Not on an ego massaging level, but from the fact that Tommy is SO generous with his praise. He is a geniune decent human being.

I was his guest at Tommyfest earlier this year. Tommy and I spent some quality time together after the show back at the hotel, sharing music and chatting about our respective families.

I am truly proud to call him my friend.

You are right sir he IS one of the greatest guitar players in this steel string world of ours.

Long Life and Happiness dear Tommy.

G.
