Hi Roger.

What a sad old start to the new year. Mick will indeed be sadly missed by fans and admirers alike. Mick and I shared the same patronage for RGT The Registry of Guitar Tutors. He attended one of my talks and we spoke on the phone a while back. A VERY down to earth guy and nice man. A certain Mr McCartney I'm sure has cried a tear on hearing of this sad loss. Thanks for letting us here in FORUM land know.

Love to you Both.

G.

Martin,

Thanks for that. I hope that it's some comfort for his family to see what's being said about MG. There was a tribute to him on BBC local radio tonight and some of the comments on his website are very touching, whether from Pete Townshend or the children he taught guitar to at one of his local schools.

All the best,

Roger
