'On Camber Sands' used on BBC local news

Postby Stevo » Thu Jul 30, 2009 8:15 pm

Just watching our local BBC news programme, Look North, when all of a sudden 'On Camber Sands' starts playing.

The news item was about the Gateshead Flower Show.

Its nice when one of Gordons tunes pops up out of nowhere.

Are Gordons tunes in some kind of music library? or do the BBC commission these tunes?

Hi Steve.

Yep, it may be through a library album OR maybe the producer is a fan...you never know sir.

Thanks for letting us know.

Be Well.

G.
