Giltrap & Wakeman comment

Postby coling » Wed Jul 08, 2009 1:24 pm

A thread has been started on Progressive Ears website (www.progressiveears.com) on our hero's joint venture withe Rick Wakeman.
There is a large following of this website in the USA - who knows NEARFEST next for Gordon?

The following is an early comment

"A fantastic collaboration from two master musicians. The tunes are divided up with the first 7 written by Wakeman and featuring him on acoustic piano backed by Giltrap. Tracks 8-14 were written by Giltrap and feature his virtuosic acoustic guitar playing with Wakeman's tasty backing keyboard fills.

This is NOT a poor attempt by either to create a "classical" piece of work. On the contrary, the tunes a very contemporary and uplifting and keep your interest throughout. Highly recommended if you are a Giltrap or Wakeman fan.

BTW, the first issue comes with a bonus DVD containing an interview with Giltrap and Wakeman. A nice addition. I'm not sure but I think that this version is already sold out".
