HI GORDON IV'E MANAGED TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE RIVER SESSIONS.YOUR PLAYING WAS CERTAINLY ON FIRE THAT NIGHT!THE TRIO SITUATION WORKS REALLY WELL FOR THOSE COMPOSITIONS AND IT CERTAINLY SEEMS TO BE A HEALTHY TRANSITION FROM THE BAND TO SOLO PERFORMANCES AND PERHAPS ALMOST A FAREWELL TO THE BAND.I REALLY LIKED YOUR TONE ON THE ALBUM.WERE YOU USING THE SAME INSTRUMENTS THAT YOU PLAYED DURING THE BAND SHOWS? BEST REGARDS SCOTT.

Hi Scott.

Glad you liked the album sir. I was using if my memory serves me well, my old FYLDE six string, a FYLDE 12 string, a Harmony 12 string, a Tom Mates acoustic, and possibly a Yamaha archtop. I don't think I have played Catwalk Blues any better since that night. I must get round to re-learning the fingering!

Best of Regards.

Gordon.
