Rob Armstrong solid electric guitar on ebay
Moderator: GORDON
Gordon,
That's really excellent news!! I was hoping that someone from the forum would see the posting and make a bid - couldn't have worked better It's always nice when you win an auction that you don't expect to, as happened to me with my Crafter on the day of your Salisbury gig.
So could a Rob Armstrong feature on Dodo some day?
Best to you and Hilary,
Roger & Em(x)

Gordon,
Was this the guitar that made an appearance at Rob's concert. What condition was it in when you got it and what work needed doing?

Hi Roger.
No.That guitar had serious issues with it like a non truss rod neck that was a bit bent. That was how Rob made them way back then, and I'm sure it worked fine when new.The seller(bless him) refunded my money.
The one I used on Saturday will be in a photograph for next months news. It is a STUNNING all mahogany guitar with amazing Rio rosewood veneers and an ebony neck with a single pick up at the neck position. It isn't for sale because Rob wants to hang on to it since the fire, which is understandable.
By the way Rog, Em's tune was played pretty much throughout the entire Four Parts tour! Wish you guys had been there.
Hope this finds you both well.
