Hi there.

Good question...I have used Rotosound, Picato, John Alvey Turner , Ivor Mairants bronze strings, La Bella silk and steel, cheap Welsh strings called Red Dragon that sounded fine once you had boiled them!

These days it's Martin SPs, but if a better string comes along then I'm open to try them!

Best.

Boiled them?
I'm intrigued to know how you discoverd that, Gordon!

Hi G ,

I too like the martin SP's they sound amazing but the life span is not so good I think they seem to lose there brightness after a couple of days.

Never heard of newtone i'm using D'addario EXP not quite so good sounding but they last so much longer.
