Hayman guitars

Postby Russ Gannicott » Sun Feb 09, 2014 4:35 pm

Well, it has only taken me about thirtyfive years, but I have finally managed to get hold of a Hayman six string electric. It is all I hoped - truly the missing link between Burns and Shergold and as such, probably superior to both of them. The model I have is the 3030 - unusually with twin single coils rather than the more common humbuckers (which was the 3030H). There is rumour that this particular guitar might have had a 'celebrity' owner in it's history - something I think will need confirming by Dale Newman as he would probably know of this guitar if the rumour is correct! I'll say no more at this stage until something is confirmed, but some of you (especially Gordon) will have probably guessed who I am talking about already!

Cheers,
Russ
