Happy Birthday Roger!

Postby Em » Sun Apr 08, 2012 4:44 pm

Well Roger is another year lovlier today.... :D
I didn't buy him a guitar, because he already has far too many (is that possible?)
Instead I promised to fix him up with some gorgeous birds!
We are now back from the nature reserve, and having enjoyed the company of two herons, three little egrets and many many gulls and little waders, I think that is enough excitement for him....and time for a strong cup of tea & a slice of birthday cake!

Em

PS Happy Easter to all forum members :) x x x

Hi Roger, ( and Em of course )

Happy Birthday from Mike and I.

Glad to hear the birds were of the feathered variety !! There's only so much excitement you can take as you get older !!

Thanks Sue and Mike!

Yes, 54 today (and I will be celebrating 14 years with Em in the near future....)

When we first met she used to buy me FHM etc, but now it's guitar mags and bird-watching books :)

Had a really nice day so far and will be enjoying the odd pint later while listening to my mates Gary and Geoff on Express FM - they might get some Birthday cake if they play "Heartsong" for me and aren't too uncomplementary about my age :D
