Had to move quickly at lunchtime today to correct a false impression I'd given my wife...
When she came in I said, "Gordon's put his foot in it by calling someone a bigot when he didn't realise his radio mic was on."
I had swiftly to dispel the impression that it was Mr Giltrap who had committed the faux-pas - I wondered why she was so surprised!
