David Hodson Tenor Guitar

Postby mtwebb1958 » Mon Feb 28, 2022 11:07 pm

Hi Gordon, just thought that you may like to know what happened to the David Hodson tenor guitar that you donated to Acoustic Magazine back in Jan 2011 to raise funds for the luthier Rob Armstrong. I was that lucky person who ended up with it and still own it now. At the time i had no experience with playing a guitar of any sort but had dabbled with a tenor banjo. What a transformation to my musical life this lovely Tenor has made. I have played it almost every day and have had some truly great times. What a great piece of craftmanship this Tenor represents and bolsters the fact that as a beginner to buy a good instrument rather than something cheap. Thank you for giving me the opportunity of owning this guitar and for helping a great luthier remain working.

Hello sir.

Gosh so long ago.

I was glad to do my little bit to help a friend.

I’m delighted it went to a good home.

I hope it continues to give you joy.

Be well.

G.
