Best wishes for Rog xxx

Postby Em » Wed Nov 09, 2016 11:27 pm

Just to let you all know that Rog is awaiting some test results at the moment and hopefully should get them on Friday. I think that his schedule of working full time and caring for his lovely Dad have finally caught up with him. Hopefully some rest will help, but it's definitely time to assess things in terms of work/life/caring balance. Of course all this has all come of a bit of a shock to him.

We have some good friends here thanks to Gordon and Hilary, and I hope you'll all join me in wishing Rog good luck - he deserves it, as he's always been such a kind and caring person. With loads of love from me too,

Em xxx

Hi Rog,

hoping things go well for you. Sounds like you need to take a bit of time out ( maybe listen to a bit more music - I recommend a certain guitarist with a relaxing new album out soon  ) You too Em.

Take care, best wishes,

Sue and Mike

Hi Roger & Em,

When you think you are just getting on with life and doing what needs to be done, it is only too easy to find that you are pushing yourself too hard. Nature has its ways of telling you to slow down and reflect upon what is most important and it is wise to heed the message.

Greetings and best wishes to you.

Only just read the post Rog & Em.
Sorry to hear you are having health problems. All I will say is take things as easy as you can, which I know is hard, but it is needed when you have the stress of caring for others and I'm sure we all send you lots of positive energy and love.
Hopefully you'll be back to your old self quickly.
Be well

Hi Roger,

Sorry, I have only just read this message. I hope you are taking things easy and if you received your results on Friday I hope it was good news.

Take some much needed rest if you can, and lean on Em.

All The Best,

Roger

Just to say a big and heartfelt THANK YOU to you all for your messages of support. I'm pleased and relieved to say that healthwise things aren't too bad now and have settled down a lot. Initially my illness was caused by a combination of issues, but tests show that the underlying cause was down to some circulatory problems, which I guess aren't that uncommon in someone of my age. So it's a case of making a few changes, taking some medication and seeing what happens over the next few months - simple :)

Thanks again guys and of course thanks to Em for her love and support.

Roger

I've not been around the forum much of late, so am late to the party here. Glad to hear that things are on the mend Rog and I still have a visit to Southsea on my to-do list!
