Hi Gordon - Looking forward to seeing you at the Customs House. 6th time I've seen you and counting. Remeber you doing an outdoor gig years ago one summer evening at the Amphitheatre on S/Shields sea front. As the temperature dropped you had to keep retuning. What was it you said about retuning a 12 string guitar!!!![/list]

Ah yes... a classic Giltrap quip, methinks. "If you're ever about to be taken out to face a firing squad and the ask if you've got any final request just say, 'Let me just get this 12 string in tune'."

My other favourite was Gordon showing off the digital delay on Sallies Song. He said

"If you make a mistake and hit the wrong note it repeats the same wrong note over and over again. What you do then is hit the same note again and call it jazz!"
