Hi Gordon
Despite the weather, what a great night! From the start you could hear a pin drop as you started with Maddie Goes West. The acoustics in the packed venue were spot on and it was clear that you enjoyed performing to this appreciative audience as much as they enjoyed your performance. We particularly enjoyed Three Legged Horse, Mrs Singer's Waltz and Rainbow Kites and with all the usual favourites and banter the time seemed to pass all too quickly. The updated version of the mesmerising Dodo's Dream was a joy (just when I've finished transcribing the original ) and the sound seemed even fuller than previous versions. You must get it on DVD or CD to give us guitarists half a chance to work the new version out better still get the tabs out there.
It was good to catch up with Hilary after arriving early because of the rain and it was interesting talking to you about A Hint of Blue. Do you think this would transfer over to the Loop Station scenario as Dodo's Dream did. As you can probably tell, I'm searching for more tunes with the Loop Station since I was forced into getting one
Many thanks again for a great evenings entertainment. I hope you are this way again soon!
Best wishes to you both
Be well
