Hi Gordon
What a very pleasant evening at this lovely little venue.
The performance and banter, although in a shorter set, were still great and the audience were appreciative to your skills.
The, as yet 'untitled', new piece was perfect for its subject and was well received by all.
The Fylde 12 string gave a lovely new feel to 'Maddie Goes West'. I shall send you the DVD of what was recorded before the battery went :(

Check 'Maddie' out on:

Jane and I are now looking forward to next Saturday's '3 parts guitar' in Birmingham.
Hope to see many Forum members there :) We are B14 and 15.
Best wishes
Bob

That's great. I think the first few rows will probably be Forum members :)
We will see you both there.

Sorry to hear that From Brush to Stone will not be ready for Birmingham '3 parts guitar'. But I'm sure the concert will more than make up for it and we now have something else to look forward to :)
Best wishes

I have posted some photos from this concert on my photo site.

Gordon played a superb, if short, set, and the night was only spoiled for me by the memory card in my camera going faulty :(

It was also my first chance to see, (and hear), THAT Fylde. :D

Well; I have now managed to restore most of the images, and somewhat belatedly you can see them here, (if you want - no obligation, obviously ;) ):-

all the best to everyone..

Great pics. Sorry about the short set, usually my concerts end up like the Ken Dodd show....grin... :D I was after all sharing the bill with some excellent musicians if you remember. Thanks again for these stunning pics which I shall tell Roger Bucknall about.

Best.

Thanks Gordon.
I did have my tongue very firmly in my cheek about the short set
We go to see Simon and the rest of the Mandolinquents every month; seeing you there was a much appreciated bonus.

(Actually the Mandos have extremely good guests on every month. Anyone who is in the area could do a lot worse, if they're looking for good music, and a good curry!!!)
