Health Update Jan 2017

Postby Sue » Mon Jan 09, 2017 11:50 am

Gordon writes: Without going into great detail my friends, and trying not to tempt fate.Yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, I was given the news that my last lot of major surgery was successful and the outcome was positive.

In theory I have been given the " all clear".Obviously I will still continue with the usual round of scans and current medication.

I just wanted to share this positive news with you.

Be well my friends.

My most heartfelt wishes Gordon. I hope that the prognosis is as accurate and positive as it sounds. I can empathise with both yourself and your family having been beside my late wife during the 10+ years she fought her own illness. I understand how events and experiences like this can shake the ground beneath your feet so - once again - all the very best for your future and for the future with your family.

It isn't how fast you can play that counts - it's that you only play as fast as you need to play that is important.

Just checking back into the forum to reply to one of Brad's comments and thought I'd ask how Gordon is now. I'm assuming he's well to being on the mend as his column still appears in 'Acoustic' magazine. How is he?
