How did you convince Gordon to update his site and forums.?

How did you convince Gordon to update his site and forums.?

I remember posting a topic in the old forums a while ago saying that Gordon could update his site with "modern" discussion forums, but Gordon didn't feel it necessary then. So how did you convince him Sue?

As I expect some of you know, the previous webmaster, Paul Auden's health is not good, which largely influenced Gordon's decision to ask me to take over the site. Rather than just take over the existing format we decided it would be the ideal time to make any changes and improvements.

Gordon knows as much about websites as I do about guitars, :wink: so on the whole it was left pretty much to me to implement things in the way I thought would work best for him. After much thought, a load of research and a couple of months work in conjunction with Jim from Slab Media in Boston USA this is the result.
