Get well soon Sadie!
That operation did sound painful..makes you feel sore just thinking about it.

Re: Thoughts re Small Amps
Hello there Roger I always think it's a nice problem looking out for new gear! I remember going back a few years when I was still into playing electric guitar that Marshall did a nice range of small amps called the MG FX.I think they still make them and are probably very good value for money. My own...

Re: Maple Fretboard Care
Here's a good product
There's a company called DR.DUCKS and they make something called axe wax and string lube which is an all in one product, you can use it for anything all over the guitar and clean the strings to boot.
There's so many care products out there the choice is amazing.
Happy cleaning!

Re: GG 12 String Possible Issue
That seems a bit strange doesn't it I notice they have changed the ad to say it was strung with 12's rather than 13's on the previous one. I still think it wasn't a bad buy at £157,you don't get much for that these days and you get a good case with it but I reckon it just hadn't been cared for prope...

Re: GG 12 String Possible Issue
Hello there For what it's worth here's my take on it.The strings that are supplied with GG vintage series guitars are made by D'addario. They don't actually make 13 gauge medium sets for a 12 string and I don't think any major manufacturers do so perhaps the ad isn't correct in stating that. For what...

Jim Marshall
Sad to see the passing of Jim Marshall
Where would the sound of Rock guitar be without the Marshall amp?
There can't be many guitarists who haven't tried or had one at some point.
RIP JIM

Rob Armstrong 12-string
If anybody is in the market for a 12 string then there is a beautiful Rob Armstrong one appeared on EBay. It is an old one from the 1970's but looks immaculate and I imagine it would sound stunning. All the best to the forum Anorak's Scott http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROB-ARMSTRONG-GORDON-GILTRAP-12-ST...

Re: Problems with the Sound Equipment
Hey Mike
This picture prompts me to ask a couple of questions that as a sound engineer you may be able to answer?
When did miming turn into lip synching and is it a modern phenomena?
Cheers
