Re: Resizing photos...
Sue, Thanks for changing the image size. Do you know if there is a commandos the forum version of HMTL. I know that there is in proper HTML <img src="next.jpg" width="300" height="200" /> but it would be really useful for posting stuff from third party websites where yo...

Resizing photos...
Sue,
Is there a way to resize photos using the [img] command. I added a photo just now but it is a monster. Would like to shring it's width down to more manageable proportions.
Thanks
Trevor

Re: Shergold
Russ, Shergolds are lovely instruments. Have always harboured a sneaky desire to have one of their basses. I recall seeing Genesis back in 1981 and being right up the front drooling over Mike Rutherford's Shergold double neck. Although this is more dedicated to 4 strings than 6, if you are a fan of ...

Her is a little ditty you might recognise. The encore piece from Farncombe... Apologies for the sound and vision quality - just captured on my iPad.

Re: Gordon Giltrap Band - where are they now (written in 200
Yeah, Johanne is an amazing drummer. Incredibly muscular but subtle at the same time when needed. I know Rich and Karl, the keyboard player and lead guitarist in Threshold and toured with them a couple of times doing merch/filming as a favour. The chance to see Johanne and Steve playing together nig...

Gordon Giltrap Band - where are they now (written in 2001
The second old article I came across was a "GG Band Where Are They Now" which also appeared in the Airwaves fanzing back in 2001. Here's the article. It just shows what a great selection of musicians have passed through the ranks of Gordon's band... The Gordon Giltrap Band – Where are they...

Interview with Shirlie Roden from 2001
Clearing out the old folder on my increasingly dodgy laptop so that I could save them on my nice shiny new laptop I came across two articles I wrote for the Airwaves fanzine way back in 2001. I had thought them long lost so it was a delight to happen across them again. I thought I would post them he...

Re: Truss Rods in " Concert Size " Electro Classical Guitar
Sam, You might find that if a truss rod is a must then there is a good chance that your choice will be quite limited. Traditionally most nylon strung guitars do not feature a truss rod, the thinking being that they just don't need one. Original Spanish and Classical guitars did not have a truss rod ...

Re: Les Pauls
I'll go for Steve Hackett as my top Les Paul player.. Scott, Roger, In about 1985 0r 86 I managed to see "GTR" in concert in Manchester here in the UK. If you've not come across it the band was the supergroup which was put together by Steves Hackett and Howe. That was some gig! Great play...
