A new take on Raymond Burley...
Many of us have got to know and respect Ray for his collaborations with Gordon in 'Double Vision' and as one quarter of Four Parts Guitar. I've just discovered two of Ray's other collaborations with guitarists from the other side of the pond which are an absolute delight. 'America' by the Pro Arte G...

Brilliant as always Keith!
I am 'crewing' for the band on 25th and 27th April; anyone going to either of those?

Four Parts Guitar - Calstock, Cornwall - Sunday 30 March
Well this was a special concert for me in so many ways... I wasn't on the sound-desk, or crewing, or generally supporting Gordon... I was just sat in the audience - something I haven't done for several years at a GG gig... sat next to me was my brother, Dave, who first introduced me to Gordon's musi...

Thanks everyone. Two unexpected days in hospital after very acute abdominal pain on Tues pm. Probably a kidney stone. Industrial strength antibiotics and painkillers plus other medication. Home now but still sore and very weak. Hope to be fully recovered in about 10 days. Sorry to miss South Molton!...

Excellent as always Sir Keith! Yes Roger; we had a few 'characters' with us on Sunday... the 'chords' incident was one of several in a fun-packed evening! From my perspective a lovely place to work... helpful and friendly staff - both FoH and technically - and a sound-tech who knew her stuff, ...

Re: The Stables, Wavendon - with BJH - 9 /11 /2013
As always, an excellent review Mr Merryteeth - Wilf send his regards by the way. This has whetted my appetite even more for Tavistock at the end of next week when I shall be 'crewing' for G & O. I'm particularly looking forward to introducing my brother, Dave, to Gordon for 'twas he who introduc...

Re: Ravens and Lullabies - Summers End Festival - Lydney - 5
Sue I can only echo Keith's words - thank you so much :D A brilliant performance by all on stage - perhaps this band might have a future together? I'm a bit reluctant to single out anyone for their performance (other than our hero Mr G of course!), but there's a saying that a band is only as good a...

Ravens and Lullabies - Summers End Festival - Lydney - 5 Oct
What a night! An enthusiastic audience greeted the Ravens and Lullabies Band very warmly indeed as they took the stage. Gordon was probably reassured to see the massed ranks of Giltrapites right at the front of the audience area - no seats here - all sporting their Giltrap tee-shirts. Others can com...

Re: Alsager last night
Hi Kevin! Did you come and speak? A couple of people did... Sorry if I didn't recognise you as you - if you see what I mean. Gordon and I both had a blast; it's always a huge lift when the audience is so appreciative and enthusiastic. ... and for those of a certain turn of mind... no, I was not oper...
