Re: St. Michael's Church - Bishops Itchington - 13/4/13

The Giltrap roving correspondent seems to have captured all the important aspects of last night’s concert in his typically comprehensive manner!! I would like to say a big thank you to Martin and Louise for their usual warm welcome and for making the concert happen and to Mike for (as usual) getting...

Re: St Michael's Church, Bishops Itchington

As we attended the first Ravens and Lullabies’ concert it would have been impolite not to have attended the last concert of the 2012 tour! We weren’t disappointed, as always a warm welcome from Martin and Louise (the hosts) and Gordon, Hilary and Oliver. Gordon and Oliver played to a packed house an...

A Great Night At The Fleece

Gordon seemed at home, relaxed and on top form at The Fleece last night, as always a warm welcome despite the outside temperature! Gordon played all our favourites as well as some new material, including a new tune dedicated to Loren Jansch. The latest renditions of Down The River, Splinter and Dodo...

Bulkington Village Centre

As always a hearty welcome from all at Bulkington Village Centre for Gordon and his fans alike. It’s been a while since Pauline and I have managed to get to one of Gordon’s concerts and last night’s performance only reinforced my thoughts that just like my school reports I must try harder in 2012!! ...

I understand your frustration and disappointment, it’s a great opportunity to see the maestro play a great set of wonderful tunes old and new and well worth a trip to Nottingham on the 14th May!!

To anyone out there who hasn’t bought their tickets yet – don’t hesitate, it’s an evening to remember!

In the beginning it was Wakefield

The beautiful Grade 2 listed and newly renovated Theatre Royal building in Wakefield was a great venue for the opening concert in the Shining Morn Tour. Gordon played this now familiar set, demonstrating his skill and dexterity as the audience were wowed by tunes old and new. The backdrop displayed ...

Sorry we missed you both - Brettforton is always a great venue in a beautiful location with a fantastic atmosphere! It's very satistying to know that the money raised is going to such a good cause - as if we need an excuse to visit a GG concert!

I'm looking forward to Thursday in Wakefield!

The Fleece at Brettforton

Gordon has been patron of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust for 16 years and the trip to The Fleece Inn located in the beautiful Cotswold village of Brettforton for the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust fund raising concert (always on or around St George’s Day) has become a special event to look forward t...
