I've recntly tried some Dean Markley Alchemy and they sound awesome but again don't last to long.

Hi G ,
I too like the martin SP's they sound amazing but the life span is not so good I think they seem to lose there brightness after a couple of days.
Never heard of newtone i'm using D'addario EXP not quite so good sounding but they last so much longer.

Trusty Jim Dunlop pick the pink is my weapon choice think it's 0.6mm.
I've used this for years for my electric playing and on the odd occasion I strum the acoustic.
