I have tried out a few of Alan's pedals and they are amazing! The Sitar pedal was stunning, the problem is that I can't go and see him very often, I spend to much time in his workshop!

Roland VG-99

Hi all, I am currently looking into upgrading my electric guitar gear and I came across the Roland Virtual Guitar system, set up in PMT in Birmingham. I have used the older guitar synth's in the past but this was amazing. Before I buy, does anyone on here have any experience with this bit of kit? I ...

It was the guitarist magazine that first introduced me to Gordon's playing, when he was writing the column's! Always astounds me, with a new trick up his sleeve everytime I hear him. I've got the harping technique down a treat but.................... how the hell do you get your little finger to do ...

Hi Mike, I've finaly had a bit of time to record a sample of the Tanglewood, here it is, you will have to right click and choose "save target as". For some reason it won't open up any other way. http://www.geocities.com/fatsquiduk/tanglewood_sample.mp3 It has no effects and the playing is ...

It's quite easy to get a harmony going but when you are playing to totaly seperate lines on two guitars then.............

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply.

I will sort a link out and post it here. I do agree that I do prefer the sound of the recordings i've done in the past using mics but just as a project recording the guitar sound is amazing, very close sound to what I was looking for.

Cheers,

Last time I spoke to him, he was talking about coming over here to the UK to play and he was looking for venues.
