'An Evening of Words and Music' (with Garry Burnett)

Garry Burnett and Gordon Giltrap have previously worked together to produce Mrs Ockleton's Rainbow Kite and Other Tales CD / paperback and Teachers Resource pack.

Garry Burnett has spent twenty nine years working in Yorkshire schools as head of English, LEA advisor and project leader for the Campaign for Learning's project Learning to Learn – Research and Development. He currently works for Oasis Education. He is actively involved in the national Campaign for Learning and regularly leads training sessions at local, national and international level.

Inspired by the music of Gordon Giltrap and including original music composed and performed by the man himself, this CD is a collection of five charming short stories narrated by the author, Garry Burnett. Drawing from Garry's memories of growing up in East Hull, these short insights into an urban working class community and the fantasies and cruelties of childhood will make you think and make you laugh.
